We guarantee that at the time of sale there will be no signs of disease or parasites and that our puppies will be completely healthy. This means that our puppies are free from viral infections, pathogenic bacterial infections, fungal infections, and congenital defects.

BREEDER HEALTH GUARANTEE

All puppies come with a 1-year health guarantee. If the puppy is found not to be healthy at the time of sale, we will replace it or refund the full purchase price. If your veterinarian does a health check-up within the allotted time (72 hours) and finds a problem that is too costly to cure or a problem that cannot be cured, we will replace the puppy with a puppy of the same or equal value replace or buy back the puppy. To do this, you must return the puppy to me with a letter from the veterinarian explaining the nature of the disease. This letter must be on official letterhead of the veterinarian with the veterinarian stamp seal. The puppy will be replaced or the full purchase price refunded.

If the puppy dies within 72 hours of purchase, you must immediately refrigerate (not freeze) the puppy’s body in a sealed plastic bag and take the dead puppy to a qualified veterinarian for dissection within 12 hours to determine the cause of death. If a viral disease or a congenital hatching defect is found to be the cause of death, the puppy will be replaced or the full purchase price refunded. This letter must also be on the veterinarian’s official letterhead with the veterinarian’s stamp seal. Before the purchase price can be reimbursed, photos and video of the deceased puppy including the identification tape must be presented to us. It is understood that the seller will in no way be responsible for medical veterinary bills, including the cost of a necropsy, or be responsible for reimbursing shipping costs if the puppy was originally shipped to you. The buyer also understands that the health guarantee is null and void if the leg band is removed from the puppy. The vet must include the band number and the reason for the removal of the band when explaining a disease or cause of death.

WARRANTY

The health of the puppy is ensured through an examination by a CERTIFIED veterinarian at the discretion and expense of the buyer. If the puppy’s health is unsatisfactory and written documentation is provided by a licensed, CERTIFIED veterinarian, the buyer will promptly return the puppy to the breeder and receive a full refund of the puppy’s purchase price. This documentation must contain the band number and the breed. The breeder is not liable for any costs incurred by the buyer during this time or for the costs of returning the puppy to the breeder.

In the unlikely event that the puppy dies within twelve (12) days of acquisition by the purchaser, the puppy must be wrapped in paper towels, placed in a plastic bag and refrigerated (not frozen) until a qualified, licensed veterinarian is reached within can perform necropsy seventy-two hours after death. All reports must be sent to our vet and include the band number and breed. If necropsy unequivocally proves that death was due to problems that arose prior to the sale, a replacement baby from the closest available clutch of the original species will be offered. The cost of the necropsy is provided to the buyer. The breeder is not responsible for any other costs and is not responsible for any problems
